File an application along with a private complaint in your local Judicial Magistrate and seek arrest Warrant alongwith an order to stop him, from calling messaging or defaming you, file same or similar applications in your DV case and seek restraining orders from him and in divorce as well.

You need to approach Magistrate Court for registering FIR. Also address a letter to Commissioner of Police stating that despite repeated requests, concerned Police Station has not taken any action. You should also send a Legal Notice asking to cease and desist from such defamatory actions.

You have a clear remedy if police are not registering FIR. Mere NC is not sufficient in such serious allegations of harassment and defamation. You should immediately: 1. File a complaint before Magistrate under Section 156(3) CrPC seeking direction to police to register FIR and investigate. 2. Alternatively, file a private complaint under Section 200 CrPC for offences like criminal defamation, intimidation and harassment. 3. Preserve all evidence – screenshots, links, call records, messages. 4. You may also seek injunction/removal of posts through civil court. Continuous inaction by police can be challenged legally. Court intervention will compel registration of FIR and proper investigation.

Since police refused an FIR, file a complaint before a Magistrate under Sec 156(3) CrPC. Report online defamation to the Cyber Cell and seek a restraining order in your ongoing DV case in consonance with the concerned Judgements and law provisions.
