Dear Sir,
I attended an interview for Java Tech lead position in a company. I went to their office 2 days and clear both face to face round. In the 3rd telephonic round a director told me they are looking for software engineer and not tech lead. I was knowingly cheated by them. So I uploaded the telephonic conversation with them and email screenshot where they mentioned Java Tech Lead in bold letter in a youtube video so as to help future aspirants. The company after seeing the video sent me legal notice for defamation. Kindly let me know how to deal.

your acts shall not constitute defamation in case if you could prove all you have faced. so you just send reply through an advocate stating all the real situation you faced from the sending of application to end.

You consult a lawyer and prepare a reply notice. enumerating true facts.. it will not come under the purview of defamation as defamation applicable only against persons and not firms ... there are several high court and Supreme court rulings on this aspect
