Newspaper printing details and photos of family of accused

My cousin was falsely accused in a criminal case for which even the trial has not started. The newspaper and media has published not just the name but photos of office & home and name and details of family members who have no connection to the offence. Kindly update me on the legal action.

if you are innocent and you are sure that you don't do anything or your cousin, then you should go to High Court for FIR quash as soon as possible so that the life of your cousin will not suffer by any false case for more details you can connect with me

your cousin can file defamation case against any person who defamed him....your query is incomplete Because you had not mentioned whether there was fir registered against your cousin or not?what is current senorio regarding this matter? for further information you can call me

I have gone through the brief, there are two recourses that you can take:- Firstly file a defamation suit against the newspaper and secondly file an IO against the Article requesting the court to take the article down. Also, send a legal notice to the newspaper to take the article down. Do let me know if you require further assistance for carrying out the same. Also, what is the jurisdiction of the case?
