Need to file a case against my classes teacher regarding backing off.

month ago my brother was attacked by a man from my area only and he attacked him in murdurious intention with sword n knife and from knife he has given my brother life treating injuries and one was close to near spine but due to god's grace nothing happened to him but the real issue is the attacker was our classes teacher brother and he promised that he would pay all the injuries and amonth of my brother's salary as well and we have a written proof as well but now he backing of what to do.

Well, you can lodge a Police Complaint against that Man and get it converted into a FIR under the concerned sections of the IPC, 1860 under the charge of Attempt to Murder. Make sure, you do not further delay in lodging the Complaint.
