11-Sep-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I am a lady. In a heated verbal argument A lady in my society In pune flinged wit force a metal bowl and a heavy plastic tray on me. It hit my cheek bone resulted in eccymysis... Heamorage of the tissues of cheek really and that near the Eye. Also her son pushed me on the chest and tried to hold my hand. I have just by chance the whole audio recorded.. Also the CCTV footage is showing her throwing things at me. I have got my medical done. Police is not accepting 324. What must I do. The Pl has suggested section 107 n get a security bond.. But why should I give a security bond. I have not been abusive, not even a single scratch on her by me. I am feeling very sad. If I approach court what's the procedure like. Is it worth it. What would be her n his punishment. I have two small kids n am worried because they stay in our building itself and they are very rough people. Pl guide me

If the police are reluctant in filing a complaint u can approach the court with your complaint u/s 190 crpc further you should file a case u/s 354 (molestation) against the male who touched u or tried to intimidate you.

as you are saying u were inured by your neighborhood for the 324 section you must have suggested 20 days rest or you must be fractured then you can file 324 complaint although if police not taking any action then you can approach the commissioner and file complaint else you can file private complaint in court
