Need help: I was cheated for money.

Hi, I gave money to a friend. He asked money by saying for some emergency. He said he will return the money in 1 week. But later got to know he took money to enjoy. I asked him to return the money. Called manyyy times and messeged him manyyy times and no proper response from him. And now he is saying I will never return the money do whatever you want. I unable to take this cheating from him. I actually felt insecure when he is behaving like this. I want to go legally. Need help

First you have stated the incident in very brief immediately approach any advocate and discuss the issue in depth and try to explore the solutions , don’t loose the hopes you have remedies under law to recover your money
