Need assistance in getting an FIR registered

1. I filed an online complaint on CCTNS regarding a Sec 419 offence.2. I visited the police station but was unable to get the FIR registered.3. After I explain the event to the lawyer, I would request the lawyer to let me know whether it is a a fit case to ask for an FIR under Sec 419.4. If it is a fit case, please ensure that the FIR gets registered.

See, the procedure is that you will have to file a complaint before the concerned police station and if the offence is of cognizable nature then the police will register FOR. If police doesn't take action upon your complaint then you will have to approach DCP or the SP for the same. Even after that FIR is not registered then you may approach magistrate
