Need advice to withdraw the case

My cousins 10year daughter was wrongly touched and her parents lodged a complaint, they had no clue that the procedure would be so long. They are afraid of multiple thingsn1) will the case go for long?n2) will the identity of victim be revealed?n3) will the victim have to visit court every time?n4) will the case be closed during 164b?

Dear Sir, The presence of victim is not necessary all the times except during investigation and recording statement before the Magistrate. Further, the presence of victim will be necessary after 2-3 years if charge sheet is filed and case is put to hearing.
