Need advice on police verification process

18-Jun-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Our neighbor filed an fir against my father u/s 323,341,114 and my name as I was present at the time of the incident. No specific allegations have been made against me in the said fir. I was not arrested in connection with the said offence. In the charge sheet also there was no mention of my name anywhere. No criminal proceedings have been initiated against me in any court of law. Just my name appeared in a written complaint but not as an accused. Can this hinder my police verification process for government job.

Hello,
If the FIR and chargesheet does not contain your name then you don't have to worry. It will not effect you job and/or career. Though your name was reflected in written complaint but also you name was not written in FIR. If not so don't worry. It will not effect you anyway.
Thank you.

If your name did not reflect in the Charge Sheet or till today you have no criminal case pending before any Court. Then you are eligible for govt. job and in such a situation Police Verification process can't hamper your selection.
