My wife is being alleged falsely

I got a call from a person who happened to be the brother of my deceased friend. He is threatening us and saying that my wife had an illicit affair with his deceased brother which as per my best knowledge is not. I now want to take legal action against him. What are the possibilities? Please help

Go to the police station and file complaint regarding the person for threatening and spreading wrong things about your wife or write a complaint and submit it to the police station and take stamp on the copy.

Well, if your deceased friend's brother is correct on his part, then, he has to prove before you first, that, your wife had an affair with his Brother. If he has got no evidences to submit it to you, then, you can file a Defamation Case against him, if he has told before the whole society, that, your Wife had an affair with his Brother. Moreover, before going against, cross check the facts with your wife too and try to do investigation on your own against your wife or hire a spy to investigate about her history since the time she has got in touch with your friend's brother!
