My step uncle threatening my local farmer and causing trouble for me
24-Apr-2024 (In Criminal Law)
I used to live in delhi and my agricultural land is in bihar. I lent this land to the local farmer and now my step uncle threatening him to not to do any activities on that land otherwise I will beat you. Now I am in delhi and this is not possible to visit again and again he do it for intent to cause trouble. And he doesn't digest that my father gifted that piece of land to me but not him. What can I do from here (Delhi) can I file FIR via post or what can I do?
First of all rather than going legally you can serve him a legal notice and in that notice you can write that either stop all these harassments or face legal action which will be at your own risk. After that if he/she fails to give you a satisfactory reply then you can anytime file a complaint at any place according to your convenience.
if you have the gift deed in your name then it is advisable that you should file an FIR against your uncle for the harm intended to be caused to the other person. however for the FIR you are required to claim that the person is having the land as the rental property and you have given him the authority to him to work on the land
