Dear queriest, as per your query you have mentioned about if the husband agrees to keep wife after mediation with him since he wants to escape from the clothes of 498A, therefore it is suggested that even though if he takes the wife with him to be on the safer side, he has to give in written to the mediator and the police that he will treat his wife with respect and if he repeats the act then you have whole right to make a complaint against him

Yes, 498A is a right of every women so if she feel that still the husband is same so she can file 498A again with the same process. And if police station is denying to register her complaint she can file case against the police

Well, in that case, you should compel Police to register FIR against your Husband despite your Husband's repeated assurances before the Police that he will behave properly & as such, will keep you happy and in an amicable peaceful environment. This is mainly because if the Mediation is not acceptable to you & if you have not got convinced & subject to Police finding enough incriminating evidence of conducting Physical & Mental torture upon you by your Husband, the Mediation fails & Police is bound to register your FIR against Accused & its family if family of Husband had also actively participates in harrasing, physically & mentally torturing you.
