My old oman company threatening me for case against me

I had worked in Oman, in a company owned by Indians. I was working as s an accountant, but my profession in visa was for salesman job. I left the company due to overload and, not paying overtime benefits. Now the company claims that I thefted 11000 OMR (23 lakhs INR). They will file case against me in India also. They may make fake evidences for that. nnIs it possible for them to file case against me in India? If yes, How can I defend it. Please help me. Hence I am having a hard time financially, I need to go to any other country for Job.
