definitely police might have a chance of arresting you and your family.
your mother might have filed a monday petition and so on proceedings against you.
You have to get Anticipatory bail to get rid of this issue temporarily and to avoid arrest

‘A’ wants to seek bail before getting detained, then ‘A’ may invoke one of the most significant defences of personal liberty defined under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, that is, anticipatory bail. If a person believes they are likely to be arrested on non-bailable charges, they can move to the Court of Session or the High Court for anticipatory bail. Anticipatory bail is a type of pre-arrest bail, and the court’s authority to grant anticipatory bail is discretionary.
