my lawyer is not telling what's going on. How to proceed ?

I am from kolkata, a case is running in barrackpur court, I got a copy of bell from barasat and barrackpur court finished, my advocate is telling case will continue for few month. I had went court two date as given. But they take money and give me another date, in other date advocate was not present , their secretary take huge time and finally said today you work will not done come another date , after that advocate tell me pay money and go back, another date will be inform. If no work done then what many they are charging, please tell me how can I know what going with my case in court. Thanks Praveen
After bail is obtained then trial starts after charge sheet is submitted. Your lawyer must be taking dates for trial proceedings. At any point you can change your lawyer to seek better guidance. Kindly connect.

Your question is very common to us. You're on Bail and if,chsrgesheet of your case already not submitted by investigating officer the investigation is continuing. Ld court fix dates at this stage for appearence of accused and IO,s report. You have taken bail on condition that you would appear court on each and every day as fixed by him. Practically your lawclerk submitted petition showing your appearance and prayed for further time for the same under the instructions of your lawyer and both of them had to sign on it. Other wise, your bail was cancelled and warrant of arrest issued against. Somehow they managed not to show you physically before court. Now you decide whether any work on your behalf was done or not?
