My father's name is in a case u/s IPC 148,353. Is that possible he can get passport or not. He was in custody for 15 days.

he will get passport for sure but he can not apply for visa for any state for visa he has to take permission from the competent court where his case is pending and he has to give written statement why he is seeking for visa for what purpose he want visa

Wts the present condition of the case is it disposed off and wt is the final decision,, as per these sections these have less than 3 years punishment... They can't deny to get passport of your father if they are escaping and trying to astray from pillar to post.. Than u can go to the court for relief..
