You can also ask him to get you the certified copy of the same.

You need to mention the court that you are referring to. There might be a technical glitch which is quite possible. The best thing will be to contact your lawyer if you are still n touch and ask him to get the case status from the registry or section office. You will need to get a recall application filed if it is dismissed .
