My brother ex has filed false cases on my family

My brother ex girlfriend has filed 504 & 506 ipc on my family including the ones who never had any means of communication with her. And my brother is getting call from police that he with all family member should report to police station. I don’t understand How can police take any case where. There is no proof. What should we do in this case. We haven’t got any written information, only a call from a police. And this girl is harassing my brother from last September and pressurizing him to marry her and now she is dragging all family members.

Hello as per your query A girl complaint against your family members in abovesaid sections then you can join investigation when you are inocent or either you can seek anticipatory bail from court. Hello if your brother Ex is filing false case and pressurising, you can immediately file a complaint against her to commissioner of police/ DCP with complete facts and details. Police can inform via phone and then send notice to appear.

first of all u must apply for anticipatory bail in the session court requesting that you are ready to join the police investigation but police will not arrest you. If a FIR is registered in a case then it is the duty and right of police to invedtigate the offence.
