hi first say that i dont want to give complaint to the police and ask them to give your bike and if they are not listening then ask them to register the FIR and release the bike and if they failed to release the bike and if not you could decide then future course of action

They aren't playing with you and there is nothing to worry about this. This is a common practice adopted by the Police Departments especially Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. They usually do not file an FIR on the day they actually receive a complaint, instead they register it in a separate diary and start investigating it. As soon as they fing the bike, they call the complainant and make him write a new/fresh complaint with a back date from the current date(the date you are writing a new complaint). Once they receive a new/fresh complaint they register an FIR. One of the reasons they do this is to show off their efficiency in front of their seniors that they caught the accused in the span of 7-10 of receiving a complaint. The accused won't see you so Relax. They might have asked you to ready with Original RC and Original ID proof and to be present in the court on the day they notify. Be ready with it, there is nothing to worry about it. What they forgot to tell you is... Carry a Pen and a few currency notes of 10,20,50 Rupees handy because people will ask you for tips in the name of Chai-Paani.
