My bike stolen from my building there is a camera in the building but that is also not working

I just wanted to know what are my rights what should I do I went to police station and filed a complaint

Dear Sir, You have to lodge complaint with Police and a copy to your owner about the theft of your bike. Request your owner to give footage of CCTV in a CD or Pendrive or Hard Disk to the Police further investigation. Along with your complaint you have to submit copy of RC Book which is standing in your name. Police may try to trace out your bike.
