my and my 2 friends were sitting in the car drinking only 1 bottle of beer so just from no where 4 police men came and saw the beer bottle and took us to police chowki and did some paper work did my medical at a civil hospital (which was just a sign from doctor and prescription of mild drinking) then i signed some paperwork and the head constable was doing the proceeding told me it was just a chowki record which will never show up in any government record and i just have to show up at the SDO office when called by the head constable to pay fine and it will be done. i asked what was it called the proceeding he said it was a "calendra". So do i have to worry about it getting show up in any govt. record or any letter to home type. Cause i am just an engineering student of 3rd yr and i don't want any future consequences cause of it. Please tell me what to do know its been 2 weeks since it happened and nobody called me for anything.

You need not to worry about it until you recieved any notice or summon... By the way it is a calendara which have no effect over your carrier and studies... Maximum they can fined you and the maximum fine can be 5000, but as ur facts they only prepared a calendara u need not to worry about it.
