Mom lost 5 lakhs to someone for a fraudulent job opportunity in govt

It's been 4 years since she gave, that opposite person is an ex military man,who also cheated many other peoples.others were filed a compliant, now he s on bail..My question is I want my money ? What to do for that?If I File a complaint against him will I able to get my money or not?

Whenever a crime takes place, the first step is to approach the Police. An FIR should be registered as soon as possible, from the time after the incident. The Police would read out the details of the FIR to you and once you confirm that the details are correct, you can sign the FIR.
