Legal query under s 340 crpc.........................................

can s 340 crpc application be withdrawn any time by the applicant? ie after issue of notice/preliminary examination etc, or it can only be withdrawn in early stages? is there any case law mentioning this?

The case law in any case can be decided by the advocate and it is the prudence of the advocate to guide his/her client for the same. Yes Sec 340 crpc can be withdrawn anytime post it's application. on any stage you can withdraw the section 340
