Legal advice - relationship threatening

Respect sir/madamnI was in a relationship with my school friend from 2020 August to now. He promised me to marry me. And now refusing. And bothering for more dowry. Everything went well. Even if I said no,he damaged by phisically , He used to convince me that I am the one to get married, why are you afraid? He got a job in software company and as it was work from home, he also went home. Everyone is playing with my patience. They say that even if I marry him, I will have to live as a maid.

Are you trying to tell us that he had sex with you by telling you gullible words..? He is Stalling you, Chested on you, Asking for dowry, Playing with your self-respect and self-identity to work as a Slave is a Very sign of a Red Flag... Even if you get married to him even after red flags then your parents and you may both suffer after a couple of months of marriage... Approach a State women commission or National women commission they will help you legally, morally and psychologically... Else approach any NGO that works for women or any Lawyer to help you out.... if you approach the police directly then they might not entertain you and most of the time they might scare you telling that it is your fault... So approach either of the above immediately.
