Legal action as father tortures mother & abuses her everyday

we are family of 4.. mother father younger brother and me the elder daughter to my parents.im unmarried and financially dependent on father. since years my father have mentally tortured me and my mom by verbal abuse . My father's behaviour is not good towards me and with my mom.he came drunk daily and start abusing and threaten us. we got fed up from this.just because he is my dad,i dont want to file any case against him. But, i m helpless now i need protection and for my mom also.i need legal assistance in this regard.

You should immediately lodge a complaint and consult and advocate. You will get protections orders from court and maintenance being a daughter. In case of financial constraint you may also approach legal aid for help

Dear Friend you have not mention your age & other relevant facts , based on provided informaton best options are :-- You can put one application in concilation centers there expert will do councilling with your father in presence of you and your mother. Engage lawyer through whom Your mother can file application under section 12 of Domestic violance Act 2005 for prtoection .
