As long as you were 21 and your girlfriend was 18 at the time of your private marriage, the said marriage is legal. If the parents of the girl have restrained her, you should file a petition u/s 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 for restitution of conjugal rights. In addition to this, you must also file a habeas corpus writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution in the High Court.

Hi, if you have proof of marriage, conversations and her consent to the marriage, then you can proceed against her for pressurising to depart from you. Even you can file a writ of habeas corpus and get the girl with you. But, keep in mind that the statement of girl should be in your favour. If that is not the case, you can proceed against them for black mailing etc.

You lodge a complaint in the concerned police station stating all the facts therein and annex all the documents and proofs that you have of your marriage.
NOTE: Your marriage should legal or valid in the eyes of law in order to initiate any legal proceedings against them.
