Lawyer asking exorbitant amount for verification

1. Plaintiff verification is done in front of the judge and now its time for lawyer verification statement. My lawyer surprisingly called a day before verification date and asked for four times more money to be paid than agreed for verification. I was given various baseless reasons. What can be done about such unethical and unprofessional approach. 2. The judges jail duty timetable can be found at? so can plan attending hearing accordingly. Well, you can change your lawyer, if he has been charging you exorbitant amount of fees without any valid reasons. In Legal Industry, fees of Private Lawyers for executing and accomplishing different tasks has not been fixed by the Legislature of India. Hence, problems relating to fees usually persists.
