if police is not registering your FIR or not acting on your complaint which you filed against kidnapping of your daughter then you can straight away proceed to magistrate enquiry into the matter will be made by the magistrate the magistrate may order for registration of FIR

Dear Sir, Very sad to know all about , but where it has happened , which you have not stated here. Generally it takes 24 hrs. to initiate the issue, for investigation by police. How old she is ? whereas, It is now almost one month passed, police must be responsible for this . what police saying ? There is a way by which you may make pressure legally on police dept. for case. You may contact from this platform, for the further legal advice and guidance. Thanks.

The best recourse would be to approach the High Court by filing a Writ of Habeaus Corpus wherein you will request the court to ask the police to bring your daughter in case they know about her whereabouts (I am stating the same because you mentioned that the police didn’t arrest the kidnappers and I am also assuming that you know the kidnappers) In case your daughter is missing and you believe that the police officials are shabbily working, then again you may file a Writ Petition in the High Court of Mandamus directing the Police officials to conduct/investigate properly. Feel free to approach me for any further query. Regards
