I have one case to share. It's U/S 326 and the victim himself has filled the bail petition and the bail was granted. The victim is the brother of the accused and during a brawl the victim fell, thus getting hurt. The victim mentioned all the details in the affidavit of NOC and also mentioned that it was a simple altercation. The PP also had no objection in the case and the CJM had granted the bail as per affidavit of the NOC. So, in this case, what will the next best possible step to take?

You can go and submit an application before the investigating officer or the officer in charge of the police station mentioning that the victim and the accused have amicably settled the matter and as such the case may be closed and final report may be submitted in the case.
