Is filing complaint via Nhrc helpful or not. My ex family members are

Does NhRC complaint has any weight or help? https://nhrc.ic.in/ There are people who are harassing my wife, so please advise.. if this can help? Do they take any action? What is the process and timeline?

National human right commission has no teeth so you can only file a complaint and nothing will happen If you are a victim of any criminal act it is advisable to lodge a criminal complaint against those culprits in the local police station or file a criminal complaint in the local court NHRC only monitor the case they have don't expect too much from them I have dictated the answer for more details you may contact my office thank you

This is not the matter of NHRC ..it’s police matter …u must get the complaint drafted n submit to the nearest police station about the Harrasment….for the same please b in touch with us asap …this will definitely assist u in lots of ways ..
