Whether celebratory fire in wedding procession by a licences pistol or rifile just for amusement in which nobody get injured is an offence in india

There is a lot of controversy and different point of view of different administration at different states. If someone is complaining of some threat then only it is a criminal or if apprehension proved that such act could cause damage to others life then it is criminal. One will have to see case to case.

Sir as you query asked for you and i have come up with the answer that when any celebraty fire in the wedding from the licence pistol or rifle then it is a offence under the arms act which is punishable.

Hi Indian law is not much clear about this topic whereas in some of state like UP, Honorable High court has banned this type of firing and that is punishable offence. Air gun and some of playing gun which dose not required any arm licence are free from this but also that would be punishable offence if hurting some one.
