Whatever the fact is but for a safer side you need to take anticipatory bail so that the police should not arrest you later on you can give your statement accordingly. Rest can be advised after knowing whole story of the case.

Stay away from that toxic person, otherwise, that person is going to make your life hell. Look, do not be a slave of your emotions, love or lust. Keep yourself under control. Some people tend to take revenge even if you have not done anything wrong against them or even you were not at fault. You must have tried from your end to clear the misunderstandings but all efforts would have gone in vain. Don't lose hope, move forward, if that person has to come back in your life as a friend, he/she will come again.

Now speaking legally, give your statement to Police and make family members and well-wishers aware about malicious intent of that accused to falsely implicate you, clear their suspicions & give evidences along with that explain circumstances which led that person to write your name in suicide letter, otherwise later on, if that person is going to commit suicide in real, then you'll be in trouble and can be booked for abetment to commit suicide i.e to persuade that person to commit suicide.

First of all you will have to take an anticipatory bail in order to avoid arrest. After that, depending on the contents of the matter, it can be quashed in High Court by filing a petition. Every matter has different facts and circumstances, so depending on it your case will be decided accordingly
