Illegal Intimidation Hence Compensation For Loss Incurred

20-Sep-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I was forced deliberately to unload loaded goods as competitor merchants at loading point threatened to implicate in charge of doing business of prohibited goods. Since culprits will themselves put some grams of banned things in loaded vehicle in the name of verifying goods. They also asked to stop future purchases or goods will be made to seize by local authority over there in the guise of verifying goods. Is there any legal remedy for such issues and provision in law for compensation owing to loss incurred by (1)unloading loaded goods (2)not delivering goods to promised people at receiving point (3) Stoppage of further purchase since they have intimidated to repeat same malafide practice if goods loaded.

Sir Your question is not understandable. What kind of prohibited goods you are talking about? Is it NDPS? Or was that something else. Please explain the facts clearly, only then any lawyer can help you.

First you yourself is a culprit if u end up loading illegal items, even if u did under threar it was/is your duty to submit the complaint at the concerned police station. Overall u need to hire an advocate who will first draft the police complaint n we can file suit for damages in case if u have had any loss Thanks
