If someone has snapshot of my Facebook post and posted it on their insta to make fun. is it defamation? can I file defamation case? how much one can claim?

Yes… it will be classified as defamation against you. You need to file a suit for defamation to claim your compensation. And there’s no limit on the claim but should be reasonable. hello client as i can see your issue yes it is a type of metal as well as social harrasment through eletronic mode so in this matter you should file defamation as well as you can also sue them for this mischevious behaviour in criminal nature of case also.

Taking screenshot of your social media data and misusing it tantamount to criminal offence. Also making fun of your data or your per se can be calculated as defamation. You can sue that person and claim compensation accordingly. For any further legal assistance please feel free to contact Thanks

Yes using your personal picture without your consent to defame your reputation is an offence u/s 500 ipc n simultaneously u can file suit for defamation for compensation and also IT act is attracted for this case …plz b in touch
