Iam a 24 year old woman. My parents are keeping me locked up at home since long time. Since the last 8 to 10 months my mother has completely stopped letting me go out of the house and if I try to go out she becomes violent. I haven't done anything to displease them or don't have any lover. My mother suffers from hallucinations and delusional beliefs and I have proof of that but she behaves like a normal person and no one can tell what happens inside my house. My father also supports her in keeping me as prisoner. What legal action can I take against them to get out of their control?

Firstly, call up on women's helpline number and get protection under the Shelter home of the State Government. However, will requeste you to talk to your near relatives and get help for your mother as well.
