I was driving my scooty just outside and so didn't have my RC handy, all other documents were with me. A police patrol vehicle stopped me and asked me to show my vehicle documents. I said I have them but will only show it to traffic police. The head constable sitting inside got off and started saying I will have the scooty impounded.I showed him my documents on digilocker and he said he will not accept digilocker and made a challan for wrong side driving in a society road.

First of all you don't need to panic , contest the challan in your district court. you will get relief in 2/3 dates at Max. Just take all the vehicle docs and challan in the original to make a fit case to contest. Better for the faster remedy go in Lok Adalat or whichever is earlier possible.
