I want to take FIR back no investigation is done yet accuse have not

I did a FIR on someone no chargesheet been filed and we have a mutual decision to take FIR back, I went to the police station they told me accuse have to come to the police station first he had not appeard still but I talked to him on call he told me he has no issue in taking FIR back what should I do can anybody help me on this I am a upsc aspirant and want to pursue a govrmt job anyone from pune can help me out on this?

Under what sections you filed the FIR? Police may file summary report during their investigation for certain offences. It depends upon What offence is registered against the accuse because certain offences are not compoundable.

Well, there is no problem, if you both guys want to withdraw the case against each other by taking back your FIRs'. No problem will arise in future. But, I do not think so FIRs have been lodged in your case. I think, Police Complaints are lodged which can be taken back easily.
