I came to know one of my friend was sexually assulted and I am scared

I came to know one of my friend was sexually assaulted, and I am scared because the attacker is her relative and she told me first then her mother. I am scared since I know this in quite in dept details. So the attacker who sexually assaulted my friend could attack me?? How can I safeguard myself and stay away from this matter after knowing 80% of the incident? I don't want to get involved any more and destroy my career also get attacked by that Assaulter. Please help !
