Husband Is A Gay Can I File IPC 420? Do People Really Get Justice?

My husband is gay. I have electronic evidences. Can i file FIR with ipc 420? will he be arrested? He lives in Chennai and comes from a well to do family. I have been through a lot of torcher and I have evidence of the torcher done by him and his family on me.

In the event you have faced cruelty from your husband and in-laws, you can opt for 498A IPc and other relevant provisions of the criminal law as well as pursue for divorce from your husband. However, being gay is not a crime and as such even if complaint is filed under s420 IPC you will not get the desired result as because that section is related to fraudulently insucing someone to hand over moveable and/or immovable property.
If you are looking for justice then I would be happy to help you in better legal ways than just to file FIR under IPC
