if you got scammed with forced documents you shall have to file for forgery bit some economic gain or economic loss must be found. you should first see whether you want compensation then the case can be going in mediation

Legal Basis for Filing Both Cases:The civil and criminal cases are independent and can proceed simultaneously as per Indian law. The Supreme Court has held that both remedies are available for the same cause of action, provided they address different aspects (civil for monetary compensation, criminal for punishment).

Firstly you have to file a report with a police as a crime has happened with u. if u have done the same but police has not taken any action then u should proceed with criminal case through court. secondly you can file for civil case if u r looking for compensation and any kind of recovery of money. Further u can call and contact for complete information.

You have both civil and criminal remedies. It depends on your case as to which will be best. Generally, if the matter is of civil nature, and you file a police report, then your report can be quashed by the court. Civil cases may take a time little longer, while criminal cases show immediate effect. Make a choice based on your case situation.
