How to issue a passport when a police FIR pending
15-May-2023 (In Criminal Law)
police have put FIR on me in 2013 cr.cp 325&323 but no any warrant and summon dont have send by any court till today. and police have put adverse PVR NOW what i have to do for passport issuance
First move to Hon'ble HIGH COURT for Fir Quashing. Once that FIR get quashed then only you can obtain clearance in the police verification. If the investigation in the alleged FIR is still pending then wait for the Final Report submission.

you should file a writ in the High Court for quashing of the FIR, however as the issue of your passport goes, an FIR does not mean that you have a criminal case against you, FIR is just an information of a crime, however it would still be advisable that you try and get the complaint dropped against you

Sir for this you have to check firstly whether the final report has come in this matter from the concerned police station if not then after getting the actual status...make a representation to the competent authority of the passport department and also make an application to the cjm for removal of the averse pvr. If any adverse order is passed or no action is taken then we can go to the writ cut or file an application under section 482cr.pc.
