How to handle a fraudulent sales deal where subject matter is false

25-May-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I have purchased 6016 sq ft (as mentioned in the paper) at the expense of Rs 1420000.00 land . But later I found that, the actual measure of the land is 4800 sq. ft. Now as I have shown them the actual measure of the land, they are telling that they will provide me the deficit amount of land from their other plot. But actually they are not taking any kind of initiatives. Just delaying the process. What shall I do, please suggest something?

You should immediately lodge an FIR for cheating and fraud against the concerned persons who cheated you and approach the consumer court for ends of justice. Consumer court is very helpful in this regard.

First of all you should tell them repeatedly to take steps on your matter but if they will negligently delay that proceeding then you can file a case in a district consumer forum with the proper steps.
After that you will understand that what you have to do.....!!!!!

MY OPINION THAT i have follow your complain & i think that you have fraudulently misguided land seller and you have kept the incidental values of the said land, and you have legitimate right /rights to return back you worth of money with interest through the proper forum /forums.

Firstly you had to measure the actual physical possession of landed property before registering to avoid the problem though now you may take shelter of court lodging criminal case under 420 IPC , breach of trust etc
