How to get out of this situation?

My father has been abusing us for a long time (Physical, Verbal and Emotional abuse) and my mother does not want to take any action against it. He has the financial authority of our household and if we take any action against him, he will stop providing us with the necessary items. I want to leave the house as it is giving us a safety threat. He is very influential, has political power and rich. My mother is supportive of him. I can provide my own living, but they will not let me leave.(A-19)

if you want to live alone just pack our belongings take all your certificares and documents and leave. severe all ties with your family. by filing an fir against your father would be futile as authorities wilk be bought by his money and influence. but if you di have some strong ground do get in touch with S S Law Offices by searching google

if you are an adult then nothing can stop you from living seperately. in case you feel there is insecurity with respect to your limb then you can seek police protection in that regard by lodging a GD then approaching the Hon'ble High Court for police in action. regards, Tanmoy Chattopadhyay, M.Sc (Net), LL.B (Delhi), Advocate, High Court, Calcutta.
