I will suggest you to file a police complaint against the concerned photographer to get hold of the pictures as well as such act tantamounts to punishment for the person who is harassing you and putting you through mental trauma.

You can file a case against him before the appropriate Court or lodge FIR against the photographer from whom you are disturbed. You can lodge FIR at your concerned police station against him that he is outraging your modesty and defaming you publicly.
Thank you

Yes. You can take legal steps against that person. You had relation. But now you are not in relation with him and there must be some justified ground of such break. You would be in relation or not thats your option. Now you can send him legal notice to not to use your photos in public or for his personal intetest. If he stop its ok.. otherwise you can go before Court of Law. Thanks.

MY OPINION THAT you have absolute & legitimate right to delete the photographs from their database, and you can defending the all wrong doing legally in many ways, and as well as you can claim from the cast for defamation legitimately.

You are not clear as to the nature of his defamations.
Showing your pictures for publicity is in itself not a crime though civil action lies to stop him from using your pictures.
However to file defamation i need to understand what exactly he ahs done to you apart from what you have mentioned here,
Let me confirm you that showing pictures does not amount to defamation.
