How to deal with harassment for dowry from family

-My wife has put 498a on me and my family members. (father, mother and sister) -She has consumed paracetamol tablets in excess and than we admitted her to hospital. She next day left the city with her uncle and made false MLC in her home city (other city) stating we were torturing her showing some injuries . She has accepted that she had consumed tablets on her own in police station. Now in court she changed and said we were poisoning her. -We have never beaten her. She was continuously saying over phone that we were violent and torturing her. I said over phone that I will not repeat just to save our marriage and will improve my behavior. She was continuously asking for divorce. -Now they are using this recording as evidence. Will this be considered under 498 or 323. She has also accepted that she has pushed me towards wall. She was threatening that she will consume rather poison. I stopped her and now she is claiming that we were violent. Please advise on above points.
You better take precaution while talking to her or other family members of her. Try to have communication in a public space and where CCTV are installed, in case if needed that will help you. When on telephone or any messenger keep a record of that.

Dear Sir I am sure you have engaged a lawyer. You must follow his advise. The mere syayement is not sufficient. The witness has to be cross examined by your lawyer to establish truth. You have also right to produce defence evidence. It is 498A and that is different 323 does not operate unless Court decides so.
