If false charges are levied on a person under crpc 107 and 116, can he file for a defamation case?

Yes definitely you file a defamation case against the person who has entangled you in false cases but before that you need to disprove the allegations leveled upon you by that person or you may approach directly to High Court for Quashing the false allegations.

First of all kindly revise the sections. Then first of all you have to face the trial. After being proved nonguilty. Then you can file a defamation suit. Otherwise that can't be happened. So face the trial with proper guidance.

Yes such can be done upon evidence and it will be ascertained by court whether such act by the other was defamatory or correct in nature. Detailed incidents are require to guide properly to obtain justice.

MY OPINION THAT i have follow your story and you have absolute legitimate rights / right to file defamation case / cases if it is legally prove with merits that the above mentioned sections are reflected .
