Out of all these sections, 294 is the one which may affect your chances of getting a govt job because 294 talks about obscene acts and if a person is convicted of having done this then it casts a doubt on his moral self and therefore no institution would want to take you in. But if it is proved in court that you had done nothing of this sort and are acquitted on Merits then it won’t hamper your future. Please contact for further queries.

Yes…that will obviously affect your job specially if you go in government sector because in that all your previous conducts needs to be written. You have to face the trial in the court and wait for it to conclude. These are just petty sections and can also be waived off in plea bargaining. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Time to time courts have given different views on this. However, cases which are of moral turpitude or effective public at large ..if someone gets conviction from highest court only then it will effect in getting govt job & according to norms of govt & private jobs.

If the allegations in the FIR are prima faciely baseless than at the initial stage of the trial itself the quashing of the FIR can be filed. Apart from that, if the stage is at arguments on charge, then an application for discharge under section 203 crpc, 1973. No effect on job till the time conviction is there.
