How to cancel criminal passport

Dear sir I am sandeep gupta from agra. I was filled a criminal case against a guy from delhi. He is doing money fraud with alot of persons in india. He is having passport and frquent flyer to abroad and he is having own house in poland. We all are worried if he escape in poland than how we find again. So please suggest me how we cancel his passport. Thanx sir Sandeep Gupta Agra 9997455666

you need to file FIR with the police and by the order of the Court his passport maybe in pound court should put some condition for himself to travel abroad by providing some surity. at the individual level you cannot do anything to prevent him to fly abroad

Consent with the Appropriate Authority by whom the passport is been issued

Mr. Sandeep Gupta, As you have already filed a criminal case against that person committed money fraud with you and others.

However, Passports are impounded by the passport authority.
They impound the passport of a person only when it comes to their notice that the person is an offender.
Impounding of a passport can only be done by the passport authority under Section 10(3) of the Passports Act, 1967. Neither the police nor the court can impound one’s passport, the only option is for the police to write to the passport authority. Once a notice along with the passport is sent to the passport authority by police, after a fair hearing from the other side, the passport authority on its discretion may impound the passport of the offender.
