How to arrest a absconding boyfriend

i filed an FIR ipc 376/506 against my boyfriend who ran away after 5 months of pregnancy bcos i told his family about it. Then his family supporting him filed a missing complain that i have abducted him. Coming to the know the truth the concerned department quashed their complaint. They applied for antcipatory bail on 10th May which got rejected. the police has not arrested him even after that. What do i do ?
Well it is the prerogative of Investigating agency/police to arrest or not to arrest an accused on basis of him likely to go absconding. Now since there is every possibility of him getting absconding, you should approach higher police officials to get him arrested. Courts have very limited power to interfere in the investigations done by police.

Initially, seek a status report of your FIR from police officials concerned, by filling an application before the magistrate. Secondly, send an application to D.G.P./I.G.P. requesting him to give necessary directions to the I.O to investigate the matter fairly and properly or strict action would be taken against the officials, if there is any collusion of them with accused.
