How Dowry case works?

Its been two years now I am fighting for justice but so far I got disappointments only. I have filled DV case, divorce case, maintenance case and now I am going to start dowry case as well. I need to how dowry case works? Will I get alimony or not ? As my husband didn’t come for divorce hearing. How to put pressure on him ?

basically dowry case is not for alimony, CrPC 125 case is for Maintenance and secondly dowry case is for harassment in domestic affairs, so whoever told you that after filling of dowry case we will get alimony he / she is not a right person for you

it is important to understand where the complaint is made and who is handling your case. mostly the contested divorce cases take more than 2-4 years to be finalised and if the cases are given on separate dates then it will stretch longer. Normally in contested divorce cases maintainence is provided and alimony is provided for mutual divorce case.
